Kirstyn Cogan, lover of all things textile... is the illustrator/designer behind SkipStone Creative – a design studio in Seattle dedicated to producing quality fabric craft and stitch products to inspire simple living, build community and encourage creative self-expression. Her background in visual communication led to a career in surface design and product development. Prior to launching SkipStone Creative, her work has appeared on greeting cards and stationary, picture frames and photo albums, quilting fabric and clothing for companies both large and small. The Alpha Critters Design Card for the Slice is perfect for everything from A to Z. Each cute little animal corresponds to a letter in the alphabet. Fall has found us. It's time to break out the sweaters and put the heavy blankets back on our beds. I don't know about you, but I'm ready to snuggle down with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate and start dreaming up some winter projects. Go to! Shop and then create! If you're interested in making a lovely banner like the one above, here are the instructions.

1. Cut out your letters at the 4" size. We used the Happy Trails design card.
2. Cut out your stars at the 3" size. We used the Summer design card.
3. Create triangles for the background.
4. Pop-dot each letter on top of a star and then the triangle.
5. Hot glue to a strip of ribbon.
6. Hang proudly.
