Last September, I got married. For the wedding flowers, I had a crazy idea to make them all paper. This turned out to be more of a Herculean task than at first suspected. I started making the bouquets and I soon realized I was going to need help. So I got all my best girlfriends together and we made flower after flower after flower. My mom lives up in Lava Hot Springs and cut out tons of hearts for us to use for each rose. Eventually we made about 50 bouquets. At the reception, I let everyone take home as many bouquets as they wanted. When I got home from my honeymoon, I found there was only about 12 left. It's a nice feeling to know that people liked them enough that they wanted to keep them for their own home decor. I didn't know what to do with the rest of the bouquets I had, so when the idea came to me to assemble them all in a wreath, I thought that was a pretty good solution.
