Make-It Monday: Simple Swatch Book

Have you ever roamed around your local fabric shop looking for the perfect match to a fabric that you left at home to only return with three yards of something that does not match!!! OH-NO :) It is so simple to create an easy to carry fabric swatch book, it even makes a great stocking stuffer this holidays season!

Creating your swatch book is sew simple to do! Using one of my favorite cards, Grandmas Attic, I cut out several different tags using leftover cardstock. I decided I would cut out two different sizes, one for yards and a smaller one for half yards. If you want to make your entire collection one size you can easily write on the back of the cards the yardage and any other details.

I snipped small swatches from my fabric and used a fabric glue stick to adhere them to my cut tags (double stick tape works just as well). I finished my book with a binder clip to hold the lot together. It really is just that simple!

I made a few of these as little books as gifts for a few of my crafty friends.. I hope that they enjoy them!
