Can you believe that another year has already come and gone? We can't either! It's time we contemplate the past year and look forward to the new. If anyone has a party coming up, a cute word banner is an easy thing to whip together for the event. I chose to use the words "For Auld Lang Syne" for my banner. To see how to make this banner, click on the link below.
The first thing I did was cut out all my shapes. I cut out all the letters and shapes at 3 inches, all the gold background shapes at 3 1/2 inches and the newsprint background shapes at 4 inches. This card was made using the Grandma's Attic card and the Bravissimo card.
Then I laid it all out to see if there was anything I wanted to change. To attach the shapes together, I used foam squares to give it depth.
Then I laid out the ribbons along the length of each word and cut them to size. Using hot glue, I glued each shape to the ribbons and displayed. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and have a happy new year!
