Freebie Friday :: Little One

We haven't done a Freebie Friday in a while. We're coming up on a new year and it's probably best to end the last one with a little bit of good karma, right? So, out with the old and in with the new! And what's newer than babies? Our giveaway card for today is the Little One card. So many cute shapes to cut out and use in your fabric or paper creations! The coolest thing I did this year was coach a bunch of 4,5 and 6 year old kids in flag football!

For Christmas this year...instead of buying gifts for each other...my husband and I contacted the local food bank for a name of a family. We then took this family grocery shopping. We found out we are so blessed with what we have in our lives. And I think we found a new tradition for our family. I think that this was the coolest thing I did this year.

The coolest thing I did this year was to go with my hubby on a historial trip through Gettysburg, Valley Forge, Philadelphia and then on for three nights in Times Square, NYC. It was a wonderful trip and made us really think about the sacrifices of our forefathers.

The coolest thing I did this year was go white water rafting for the first time. Then our raft FLIPPED, yes upside-down dumping all of us in the raging class 4 rapid. The entire thing was caught on film so I can include it in an upcoming scrapbook.

The coolest thing I did in 2012 was teach an arts/crafts class to a group of special needs adults. They all did a wonderful job. Everyone seemed very proud of their creations. It was a true blessing for me.

The coolest thing I did was to go on a 4-wheel drive weekend trip in the Santa Cruz, CA mountains with my eldest daughter. The 2nd coolest thing was to help a niece for several days with her fussy newborn. (I'm sure glad the youngsters are having the kids and not me! :-) )

The best thing I did this year was organise a street party for the queens diamond jubilee. We had the best day getting all the neighbours together and it gave me a good excuse to make bunting with crowns cut using my slice machine. Happy New Year to everyone at Slice.
