After inserting the design card into the Slice, it asks me to insert the card. My other card does not do this. Does this mean that the card will not work any more? Please help.

Deb, it might mean just that. Give customer service a call: 877-797-5423 and see what they can do for you.

Glad to see that it's not just me. I feared that my brand new machine stopped working. I contacted customer service and a great person, Jenn, replied promptly to my concern and I am returning them to be replaced. (They were new cards). Cudos on the Customer Service.
