Tipsy Tuesday :: Inserting Design Card

Sometimes inserting a design card is a little tricky. Here's a tutorial on the ins and outs of design card use.

 

First thing you're going to want to do is to find your design card. Hopefully you have a design card case to hold your library of design cards. Place the card in, with the label facing up and the metal shiny part on the bottom - closest to the machine.

Next thing you do is push the card in until you feel a little resistance. It should feel like there is a spring at the end of the card. Once the card has been inserted, go ahead and use your machine!

To extract the card, just do the whole process in reverse. Push on the design card and the card will pop out, just a little, from the machine. Pull the card out and store. Simple!

After inserting the design card into the Slice, it asks me to insert the card. My other card does not do this. Does this mean that the card will not work any more? Please help.

Deb, it might mean just that. Give customer service a call: 877-797-5423 and see what they can do for you.

Glad to see that it's not just me. I feared that my brand new machine stopped working. I contacted customer service and a great person, Jenn, replied promptly to my concern and I am returning them to be replaced. (They were new cards). Cudos on the Customer Service.
