One of the more essential elements to applique is fusible web. It helps to secure your design to another piece of fabric with just the heat of your iron. On this Tipsy Tuesday, we'll help you out with some techniques we use around here at the office.
First, make sure you iron your fusible web onto the WRONG side of the fabric. What the wrong side is is really up to you, but generally it's the side that doesn't look as pretty. Next, place your iron setting so that the steam part is OFF.
Find out more tips after the jump.
The next steps are easy, put your fabric down onto the glass mat (after having put your glue or adhesive spray on first), select your image and cut out!
Sometimes it happens that you don't use your design right away and when you go to remove the fusible web, it doesn't peel off easily. The simplest thing to do is to just iron it again and peel. Should remove from the fabric easily.
Uh uh uh!!!!!!!!!!!! I've just discovered this wonderful tool!!!!!!!! It looks fantastic!
